The upcoming Samsung smartphone will be a budget 5G offering. It could launch as a rebadged version of the upcoming Galaxy F23 5G rumoured to launch soon. While we wait for the official details, the M23 5G is listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification website ahead of the launch. Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is expected to launch in the coming weeks. The phone is listed on Bluetooth SIG with the model numbers SM-E236B_DS and SM-M236B_DS. The listing confirms the moniker of the Galaxy smartphone. It also suggests that the phone could come to various markets under the F-series branding with the model number SM-E236B_DS.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.0. Other details of the device were not revealed via the Bluetooth SIG listing. However, some key details of the F23 5G have surfaced in the past. Considering that the device might launch as Galaxy M23 5G in various markets, we can expect both devices to share similar specs.
In that case, the Galaxy M23 5G will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC under the hood. The processor has been used on the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE, Xiaomi Mi 10i, etc. A Geekbench listing revealed that the phone has 6GB of RAM under the hood. Samsung might launch the phone in an 8GB RAM option as well. The Samsung smartphone will boot Android 12 out of the box and have a layer of One UI 4 on top of Android.
