Australian retailer Harvey Norman has opened its latest superstore in Kuala Lumpur’s newest shopping destination Pavilion Bukit Jalil, making this its 27th store across Malaysia.
Located on Level 1, the approximately 60,000sq ft Harvey Norman Pavilion Bukit Jalil Superstore features a comprehensive range of top quality brands in electrical appliances, computers, furniture and bedding products.
During the launch, Harvey Norman Asia managing director Kenneth Aruldoss said they were looking forward to welcoming residents in the neighbourhood.
“We have loads of offers spread across the electrical, computers, furniture and bedding departments to prepare everyone for the festivities and New Year.
“There are also awesome new products and concepts for customers to discover.
“The mall’s high accessibility to the immediate 1.9 million catchment population will make it a sought-after shopping destination for young urbanites and families staying nearby,” he said.
The new superstore is poised to provide shoppers with an immersive shopping experience as they interact with the exciting products on display.
In line with Harvey Norman’s “Shop with Confidence” policy, shoppers are welcome to negotiate for the best deals.
For the movie buff, the store carries a massive range of large-screen TVs, consisting of premium and entry-level models among the more popular brands – Samsung, LG, Sharp and Sony.
Shoppers can also try the latest handstick vacuum and robot vacuum models on display in-store and browse more than 100 displays of small appliances, washers, fridges and personal care products.
The store’s cooking specialists also assist shoppers with their search for quality kitchenware.
The new superstore is also the first and only retailer in Malaysia to house the Samsung Bespoke Fridge concept where home chefs can customise their fridge of choice.
Also found at Harvey Norman’s Game Hub is an array of modern PCs, gaming laptops as well as the latest PlayStation and Xbox console models.
The latest smartphone and tablet models are also available for hands-on browsing and demonstration.
The wearable section, meanwhile, features Fitbit fitness trackers and smartwatches from Garmin, Apple and Huawei.
Shoppers are also able to print out digital photos fast at the Photocentre.
Microsoft personnel are also stationed there to assist shoppers with product queries, on-the-spot troubleshooting and demonstrate the wide range of Microsoft products available in-store.
Shoppers can also choose to customise their upholstered furniture from an abundant selection of fabrics and colours.
Those who prefer a leather finish should look out for the new statement sofas that come in two new luxurious leather options – Nappa and Nubuck leather.
They can also invest in quality sleep with mattress brands Serta and Sealy from the US, as well as Hilker and Musterring from Germany.
Visitors can consult with bedding experts there to find their perfect mattress fit and also consider customising their mattress firmness level with Musterring mattress, a brand exclusive to Harvey Norman.
Dedicated children’s bedroom collection ranging from single-sized to double-decker beds are also available.
